Features and Classification of Axial Fans
Hello, welcome to sherry’s Fun Fan Classroom.Do you know the features of axial fans? how is it classified? So let’s share.
Axial fans are usually installed on the cabinet of electrical equipment, and sometimes integrated on the motor. They are widely used for their compact structure which can save a lot of space and is easy installation.
As its name implies, the air flow of the axial flow fan is axial movement. It is featured by simple structure, low noise and large air volume, but the wind pressure it can withstand is lower. Therefore, axial fans are suitable for applications requiring large air volume and low air pressure, such as ventilation and heat dissipation.
According to the classification of wind direction: it can be divided into A (air blowing from the stator side to the rotor side) and V (air blowing from the rotor side to the stator side).
EBM has derived several series based on the structure of the axial fans:
ebm A series: It is composed of a motor and blades
ebm S series: It is composed of motor, blades and finger guard.
ebm W series: It is composed of a motor, blades and air ducts.
Feel free to leave a message in the comment if you have no idea about your fan type, we are glad to help. Beijing Hengrui is experienced to offer you good choice and options of axial fans with finger guard, air duct or other accessories.
A, S, and W series of fans are universal, and they can also be equipped with accessories separately. For example, if your S or W series of fans with finger guard or air duct is broken, you can directly replace them with A series fans composed of motor and blades to cut cost.
