Hello, welcome to Sherry’s Fun Fan Classroom. Temperature, one of the most important factors in fan selection. It should be noted that both operating temperature and storage and transportation temperature are related to the fan, which must be distinguished.

The operating temperature is the highest and lowest ambient temperature when the fan is in use. When the ambient temperature is higher than the highest operating temperature and lower than the lowest working temperature, the fan cannot work normally. The fan will also generate heat during operation, and the temperature of the motor will rise. Combined with the influence of the ambient temperature, once the tolerance value is exceeded, the motor will easily burn out.

The storage and transportation temperature is the highest and lowest ambient temperature that the equipment can withstand in the non-working state, that is, the storage state. once the temperature is exceeded, the normal operation of the equipment may not be guaranteed when it was turned on again, even if the temperature returns to the acceptable operating temperature range.

There are many factors that affect the operating temperature of a fan, such as the design of the motor winding, the selection of bearings, the design of the fan structure, the power supply voltage and so on. For example, an AC fan supports 50HZ and 60HZ operation at the same time, but the maximum operating temperature in the two cases is very different, so everyone must pay attention.
